We spend so much time focusing on how to increase your income [and] how to increase your wealth, and I think it is just as important to spend time on trying to manage your expectations and keeping your expectations from growing faster than your income. Because it doesn't matter how wealthy you are—if your expectations are rising with your income, you're not going to feel any better off.
