I feel that one of the greatest issues we face today, especially in the United States, is this idea of experience stretching ... Everything that you own is a small burden on you.

I look at that [mental health] as one of the pillars of longevity ... If you don't have a sound and stable mind, that's going to lead to not only problems right now but certainly ones in the future with all sorts of things, whether it be business or relationships or just [your ability] to have a good night's sleep. All these things hinge upon a sound mind.

There have just been so many different types of diseases and issues related to there being excess glucose in the body... Not only does it lead to pre-diabetes and then diabetes... but there are many scientists that are calling dementia and Alzheimer's [disease] type 3 diabetes.

The US doesn't have a healthcare system; it has a disease management system. You have to care for your health ... It's up to us to actually go research the practices [and] the best habits.

If you are reading about a [scientific] study, most likely, especially if it's in a mainstream news channel or periodical, you're reading about it because someone wants you to read about it.

Without a doubt, in 10 years time, everyone will be talking about this [genome analysis]. There will be personalized medicine and supplements based on your genome.

Once you've experienced something that you perceive to be of greater value, everything beneath it is now of lesser value and no longer as equivalent.
