Welcome to Quick, brain, bite sized brain hacks for busy people who want to learn faster and achieve more. I'm your coach Jim quick
0:09
free your. Let's imagine if we could access 100% of our brain's capacity, I wasn't, I wasn't wired, just clear. I knew what I needed to do and how to do it. I don't consume Sherman.
0:27
So, each month, our team
0:29
compiles questions from all of you to do something. I like to call Quick Q&A, I'm going to speed read through some of these responses and answers some of them very rapid fire. Why didn't you translate your book, Limitless and other languages like Spanish. So our book is actually been translated in a few dozen languages Spanish will be in the summer of 2022. So thanks for your patience on that. How do you get through inferiority?
0:58
Or how can I get through inferiority complex? So, I think belief in ourselves is very important. When I remember, I was going for a walk, and I saw a bird in the tree, and it's very high up. And I have this exercise that I do, where I pretend or jump perceptual positions, because I like to see things from other people's point of view. I think it cultivates, empathy, and EQ. And I have this thing for Heights because some of, you know, I've had a couple of traumatic brain injuries when I was a child, and they were really bad fall.
1:27
Al's. And so if you see me on social media, doing skydiving or 0g, me just kind of facing my fears. Anyway, this bird up there and his chirping. It's happy. It's very confident. And when I kind of was in their mind pretending going to this thought experiment, I realized that it's calm and it's confident not because it puts its trust in the tree branch, it's common it's confident because it puts its trust in its own wings and I think that's really important for us to be able to
1:58
To know ourselves and Trust ourself to be able to love ourselves and also to be able to be ourselves, I don't think it's a Savory easy. We all struggle with self-doubt, not feeling like we're enough. Some of you have benefited from going through our quick confidence course. You could find it at quick confidence.com for more tips and we'll certainly do more podcasts on this but I would start with acknowledging. How far you've come that. Do you remember that time where you didn't think you would survive? Well,
2:27
You did, because you're here listening to me and you will again, and part of it is not just trusting ourselves, it's more of, it is just falling in love with that person in the mirror, who's been through so much and is still standing and the questions that you ask will give you evidence for your beliefs that you have. And so, if you ask yourself, why can't I ever do this, why am I not enough? Then you're going to get those answers and if you acknowledge the things that you have done, and then things that you have accomplished and clear and
2:57
And those lies transcend and the trance, this massive gnosis, their marketing media that were not enough. I feel like that's a great start. And so little by little, a little becomes a lot how to be smart, I think reading 10 minutes a day, is a great place to start. Read to succeed if somebody has Decades of experience and they put into a book and you can sit down in a few days and read that book then all of a sudden you could download decades and the days. So I would start small if you're not naturally a reader just read one line in a book or read one paragraph in a
3:27
Look because those little things add up to date things and that's I think the biggest advantage that you could have, you know, it's a quickest way to success is by role modeling and getting mentored by others. And if you don't have a mentor or coach and then go to library and get a book, and there's so many right now, you have unfettered access to the world's information. So I would say, how do you get smarter? It's not how smart you are. It's how are you smart? And so self-awareness, get curious in terms of your natural, strengths, your natural talents, and we all
3:57
Have them, they're all important. So cultivate it nourish it because what you nourish, flourishes, three books, you recommend and what category. I love books. I'm an Avid Reader. I would recommend you go into our quick brain Universe app because that's where I share the latest in terms of what I'm reading for that month. Sometimes that week and also post that question in our app because we have thousands and thousands of you around the world sharing and ideas inspiration. And
4:27
Ends and how to level up your learning and level up your life. Three must-reads and the area of self-development mindset by dr. Carol dweck Man's Search for meaning by Viktor Frankl. The magic of thinking big, there's so many books, you know, the idea here is, you don't just buy books and them sit on the Shelf, become shelf, help, not self-help. Just read a little bit. Each day does watching reels on Instagram, affect your brain? Yes, make sure after you watch this connect so you can reconnect. How can I be more confident in an exam?
4:57
I'll tell you, confidence is a choice. You do not have confidence, you do it, just like you don't have Focus, you don't have motivation. You don't have energy. You're like Jim. That's the problem. I have no focus and motivation or energy. When you take nouns and you turn them into verbs. It gives you your power back. Sometimes we give our sovereignty, our freedom away to external forces when we say. And then I got to do this, right? I got to pick up the kids. I got exercise, I got to read today but you don't got to do it, you get to do it, you get to pick up your kids.
5:27
You get to work. You get to read today. You get to work out, right? And changing the small little word or even a letter like the the oh and got to eat. And get it changes everything. And so I would say, how do you become more confident, you start with your to be list. You have it to do list but before you do, you have to be. So what's on your to be list and maybe it's to be Focus, maybe it's to be confident, maybe it's to be compassionate. Even fact, when you're facing a decision or dilemma, most people say what do I need to do.
5:57
If you're facing a difficulty, don't ask what you need to do. First, pause and ask yourself who do I need to be, you know, because if you're going to be compassionate, the doing takes care of itself, you're just going to do loving things, right? And the same thing applies to confidence. All right, remember the two, most powerful words in the English language or the shortest? I am is whatever you put after that, you know, determines your life, your focus make the choice. What is the main purpose of life? I think this is individual.
6:27
At a high level. I think the purpose of life is to live, right? We hear a lot about near-death experiences and we don't hear a lot about near life experiences and that's the thing we all have in common. So I would be thinking about the most important thing is to give the most important thing. The most important thing, and that you don't find your purpose, you build it. So, expose yourself to lots of different stimulus. Lots of novelty, see, where your passion? Your heart pulls you towards passion is for me, is what lights you up?
6:57
You up but purpose is how you use your passions delayed other people up. My passion is learning, it wasn't always learning because I trouble with it for a long time. But when I found my passion, my passion is learning one of my many passions but teaching people how to learn that lights other people up in that. Instead my purpose. How do you never stop being motivated? I don't think we have to be motivated all the time. That's my personal choice. But motivation has a very simple form
7:27
Are just three things. The formula for sustain motivation is p times, e times, S 3 p times, e times, S 3, we talked about it and Limitless. There's a whole section on human motivation to overcome procrastination, right? Many of you have seen the video online on social on YouTube. If you search, Jim quick, procrastination. I'm in front of like ten-foot Hulk talking about tennis smash procrastination, but fundamentally
7:57
P times, e times. S 3 p is purpose. You have to tap into the reasons because with the reasons will give you results. And so, if you don't have a purpose for working out, if you know a purpose for reading, if you know purpose for working, you won't get the result. But maybe you have a limitless purpose and you're still not motivated. Check your e-mail, you stands for energy, you know, when you're depleted and you didn't sleep. Well, you know, last night are, if you ate a big process meal, you're in a food, coma. You're not going to be very motivated to do things you need to do. So that's why we talk and we
8:27
So many podcasts, so many courses Limitless book. Talks about the power of energy and how to level up your energy with the right Foods, managing your stress, how to optimize your sleep. And then finally you have Limitless purpose and Limitless, energy and still not be motivated because you need small. Simple steps S3, small simple steps. Some people are not motivated because this goal is too ambiguous. It's too intimidating. It's too confusing and a confused, mind won't do anything. So, break down the things you need to do.
8:57
Do into small, simple steps. They're very digestible and so maybe it's not working out for an hour a day. Maybe it's putting on your running shoes, maybe it's down reading, 30 minutes a day. That's maybe too big to say your motivation. Keep it sustained. Break it down into reading, one sentence because nobody's gonna stop at just one sentence right little by little, a little becomes a lot. Jim. What do you do for fun? All right. So I believe that, you know, most people look forward to the weekends and
9:27
Certainly weekends are really wonderful but I found it's been my experience. If you do what you love or you find the love and what you do, then you could add five days to every single week. And so my values in terms of what's most important love, growth contribution is sense of adventure. A lot of things I do for fun, gets me out of my mind, how you many, you know, that I meditate. And I do cold baths and I do the float tanks and news kind of things for my mind. But I think also a lot of what I do for runs gets me out of
9:57
on my mind and so skydiving. You may see me do the zero. G gravity flight swimming with sharks with no cage going on, so far, he's playing with my dogs, you know, being around friends. I love geeking out over video games and movies, especially movies where they have the hero's journey and so anything having to do with superheroes as a whole, it's a lot of fun for me. I'm curious. What do you do? What do you do for fun? How do you become rich is education the way to get a good job.
10:27
This mentality is a mindset, right? Some people first, monitor your words, there's a difference between being poor and being broke, right? Broke is maybe a state of your bank account but poor is more of a state of mind and I believe that we do have an internal thermostat and when we Savage setting or temperature or standard and then we could affect our environment. Everybody doesn't start in the same place. The truth is not everyone's equal equal in the opportunity equal in
10:57
tation equal and contacts and network equal and their pay and their salary. But what we are equal in is that we have the same 24 hours in a day, right? You have 86400 seconds in a day and I feel like the best thing we could be always be doing is investing in ourselves especially investing in our mind that if you want your bank account to grow, then we need to grow, right? And especially your brain because today and today's society, they called the knowledge economy. Knowledge is not only Power knowledge.
11:27
Is profit and the faster and more, you can learn the faster and more you can earn because you are more valuable and you can solve problems. You could add value in ways that maybe other people don't add value. And so, when it comes to becoming rich, I think we have to always start with the Limitless model becoming wealthy. There's a mindset to wealth, you know, when you think about money, what are your attitudes and assumptions about that? That's your mindset, your mind set of the set of attitudes assumptions. You have about something. So
11:57
People think money is the root of all evil money doesn't grow on trees, all of these beliefs, some of them are BS, right? Be S stands for your belief systems, their limited ideas entertain. There lies a limited idea entertained. And so, I would say, first, check in, with your mindset because you could learn a great method on how to make money, or how to invest, but if your mindset is, I don't deserve it. Or I'm not good enough. I'm not smart enough. We're still going to be stuck in that box. So the first part,
12:27
Only three things, you need to change. Either your mindset or your motivation, how do you become more wealthy? Maybe have a limitless mindset, but you're not motivated to go, do the things you need to do. So check your purpose, check your energy break things, down a small, simple steps. We talk in the book about how to activate your flow States, how to develop routines and habits and Genius Leaves Clues, you know. I think genius is really pattern recognition that the people who are really smart in the area maybe of wealth. They have filters. They have
12:57
Works for finance for earning and for investing that other people don't have much. Like what would your we offer you or Frameworks and tools and technology and methods around reading faster, right? There's a pattern to genius. There's patterns for people with learning languages better their patterns for people really remember names. Their Patterson, people could focus on one thing and maintain high levels of energy throughout the day and there's always a method behind the magic and then finally it's not your mindset or motivation. What's the other key to getting created? More wealth is other methods. Using some
13:27
Have Limitless mindset and Limitless motivation but they're still not wealthy or even progressing because they're using old methods that aren't applying in today's current environment, same thing as people using old methods for reading all the methods for memorizing or studying and so we want to upgrade do not shrink your wealth goals to meet the current situation, right? Don't downgrade your dreams to meet the current situation, upgrade your mindset, your motivation, and the method you're using to be able to meet your biggest dreams. Alright, that's all the time. We have.
13:57
